Manufacturing and Services Associate Banker based in Baku
The person will be responsible for making a significant contribution to the development and execution of Manufacturing & Services sector team portfolio. Provide support to project preparation and in some cases monitoring process using the full range of debt and equity financing structure and instrument available to the Bank.
Position Objectives:
An Associate Banker is sought to work in the EBRD Resident Office in Baku, Azerbaijan. The candidate’s core role will be to support transaction related processes (project initiation, appraisal, negotiations, due diligence, legal documentation).
Job description:
• Participating in project origination
• Credit and financial aspects of project development, including performing financial analysis of companies, preparing of financial projections and financial modelling.
• Participating in project implementation, including administrative and analytical support in specific areas of project monitoring.
• Research and analysis of background information for different companies or sectors.
• Attending meetings with clients together with more senior bankers.
• Drafting of specific assigned portions of Bank documents.
• Providing administrative and analytical support for project development.
Skills and experience required:
• University degree in business administration, economics, finance, or other relevant disciplines.
• 2+ years business experience in the financial and /or corporate consulting sector.
• Credit analysis skills, ability to interpret accounts, understanding accounting principles and practice of credit analysis.
• Proven analytical skills; strong numerical and financial skills with ability to design financial models.
• Computer literacy, conversant with Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet packages and financial analysis models.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English, Azeri and preferably in Russian.
• Experience in banking sector is advantageous.
