Administrator, Data and Reporting (Maternity Replacement)

Position summary
- The Administrator, Data and Reporting assumes a position of high responsibility at ADA University. Being part of the University’s Office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation, and collaborating closely with its Office of IT, the Administrator manages data and provides comprehensive and meaningful reports that facilitate informed decision making on the institutional and School level. The Administrator is furthermore involved in a wide range of projects organized and managed by the Office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
Note: This role is offered on a temporary basis (approximately 1 year) to cover a maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Extract relevant data from the University’s database;
- Ensure the validity and correctness of data (cleaning, filtering);
- Design and provide reports for a variety of stakeholders;
- Facilitate the interpretation of data and reports;
- Support, supervise and implement projects in the field of data and reporting;
- Support the University’s quality assurance, accreditation, and rankings projects;
- Support the Office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in further activities;
- Fulfill other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, IT, or a related field;
- Thorough understanding of statistics and data analytics;
- Thorough command of relevant software (minimum requirement Power BI and MS Excel);
- Well-developed SQL skills;
- Good command of English and Azerbaijani;
- Well-developed analytical skills;
- Detail-oriented and systematic approach to tasks and projects;
- Reliability and a high level of confidentiality when dealing with data;
- High level of motivation, dedication and initiative;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
- Experience with projects and project management is desirable.
