- Salary: 2500 AZN NET.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting letters, applications, and complaints related to legal matters concerning the company’s activities;
- Drafting new contracts, making necessary amendments to existing contracts when needed, and analyzing contracts received from the company’s partners;
- Draft lawsuits, applications, invitations to mediation and other relevant documents (work on the portals https://e-mehkeme.gov.az/, http://mediasiya.gov.az/);
- Timely identifying issues related to breaches of contract terms;
- Providing legal opinions to determine the appropriateness of defense or prosecution-related legal proceedings;
- Representing company in litigation if required;
- Supervising the preparation of necessary documents based on labor legislation (based on requests from the human resources department);
- Assisting with the implementation of new legislative regularities, developing company policies and procedures;
- Performing other duties in accordance with Department Head`s assignments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in law with preferably specializing in commercial and international law;
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as Corporate Lawyer, Legal Counsel or similar position with a law firm or an international organization’s legal office;
- Knowledge of all the corporate law governing the state, legal policies and procedures;
- Experience in working with courts and mediation bodies;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and Russian, upper-intermediate level of English;
- Client orientation with constructive approach to resolution of problems, timely support and respect for deadlines;
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written;
- Outstanding drifting, analytical negotiation, creative problem-solving skills.
