Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and internal reporting on the political situation and developments in Azerbaijan;
- Assessment, monitoring and evaluation of project documents in the portfolio of projects in the areas of rule of law/ human rights and democratization;
- Promotion of the economic relationship between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan;
- Contribution to the communication work of the Embassy;
- Organization of events related to the main policy areas of the Embassy.
Requirements:
- University level education;
- At least 5 years’ experience in the relevant fields;
- Good understanding of the political and economic development context in Azerbaijan;
- Knowledge of drawing up project plans and performing evaluations;
- Ability to think analytically, knowledge of local legislation;
- External awareness, ability to network, client orientation;
- Able to take initiatives independently and think creatively;
- Proven ability to plan and organise;
- Experience in working with international organizations is a plus;
- Native speaker in Azerbaijani. Excellent oral and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English. Knowledge of Russian language required. Some knowledge of Dutch will be an advantage, but is not required.
- Proven track record of impeccable professional and personal integrity.
