Head of Marketing Department

Main duties:
- Set the goals and objectives for the marketing department of the company;
- Plan and execution the marketing strategy of the company;
- Plan the annual and quarterly marketing budget the of the company and ensure optimal usage of the budget;
- Work with and help manage brand/creative, design, PR, event, and media buying agencies to deliver impactful rollout of marketing campaigns across market;
- Collaborate with the Sales Department in developing promotion of products and services and special events;
- Develop and implement effective monthly and quarterly marketing and content plans to reach departmental and project objectives;
- Align the marketing plans of the company with the other departments and ensure coordination among all the departments;
- Ensure all channels are regularly maintained and updated in line with the content plan (website, social media, etc.);
- Perform research and analysis of local and international market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information for marketing campaigns;
- Work with design teams / creative agencies to produce marketing campaigns to promote the company's products;
- Identification of trends and insights for the digital marketing campaigns and optimal spending on the insights;
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements;
- Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects;
- Contribute to new business development initiatives;
- Build and develop the marketing team;
Required skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing management role;
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field;
- A Master's degree in marketing or a related field or an MBA may be highly desirable;
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills;
- Strong social and emotional intelligence: ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and key audiences;
- Deep understanding and use of data/analytics in the development and measurement of marketing strategy and tactics;
- Fluency in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian languages is required at an advanced level;
