Salary: 2,000 – 2,500 AZN net

Job Description
A reputable company operating in the Oil & Gas industry is looking for an experienced Lead / Senior Accountant to manage accounting activities related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and purchase transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process AP / AR transactions and accurately record entries in the accounting system
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy, approvals, and compliance
- Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers
- Monitor AP / AR aging and follow up on outstanding balances
- Perform vendor and customer reconciliations
- Support month-end closing, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
- Contribute to finance process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional accounting tasks assigned by Finance Management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant
- ACCA (minimum F3) – mandatory
- Knowledge of local accounting standards, tax legislation, and e-invoicing systems
- Strong MS Excel and computer skills
- English – required, Russian is an advantage
- Experience in Oil & Gas / production / industrial companies is an advantage
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
