Reconciliation Operator

Job Location: PITS Azerbaijan Office located at AF Business House, 203 Nizami St, Baku 1010, Azerbaijan
Working Days and Hours: 40 hours/weekly, Mon-Fri, 17:00-02:00 (Baku time)
Agreement Type and Pay: Contractor of the US Office, 500-800 AZN (NET)
Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile discrepancies in accounts, records, or reports from different systems or databases such as Salesforce, Stripe, PayPal, and others.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure all reconciliations are performed within stipulated timelines.
- Prepare and present reconciliation reports highlighting any discrepancies or issues.
- Submit daily reports to the supervisor regarding any issues, discrepancies, or delays encountered.
- Collaborate with relevant departments, especially the sales team, to ensure all follow-up activities are carried out on time.
- Update and maintain a log of all reconciliations performed and any discrepancies identified.
- Recommend process improvements to streamline reconciliation processes and enhance accuracy across various systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary reconciliation documentation and support.
- Stay updated with changes in reconciliation tools, practices, and regulatory requirements, as well as updates or changes in systems like Salesforce, Stripe, PayPal, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience in reconciliation or a related role, especially with systems such as Salesforce, Stripe, and PayPal.
- Proficiency in using reconciliation tools, software, and various financial platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with other departments, presenting findings, and reporting to supervisors.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
