Financial Data Analyst

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance financial data analytics, including monitoring financial transactions and key performance indicators;
- Develop and manage attribution models to distinguish revenue streams and assess the impact of various financial activities;
- Work with raw financial and operational datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity;
- Create dashboards and reports detailing financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting;
- Reconcile raw financial data with accounting records and financial reports;
- Identify inefficiencies and growth opportunities within financial processes and conduct data-driven experiments;
- Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, analytics, and IT teams to align data insights with business objectives;
- Respond to various ad-hoc financial data requests and analyses.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst, financial analyst, or similar role, preferably with exposure to finance data;
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Superset, or Looker Studio;
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and attribution methodologies;
- Experience working with financial systems and raw transactional data;
- Proficient SQL skills (BigQuery, MySQL, or similar) for querying financial databases;
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to formulate and test hypotheses related to financial performance.

Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and semi-structured data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Excel, or similar BI platforms.
- Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from databases or data warehouses.
- Define and monitor key business metrics
- Work closely with product, operations, finance, or marketing teams to frame business questions and deliver relevant analyses.
- Perform ad-hoc investigations and root cause analyses based on business needs.
- Document data sources, metrics definitions, and analytical methodologies.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing relational data.
- Hands-on experience with at least one Power BI.
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail and business context.
- Ability to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with Python or R for more advanced analyses.
- Understanding of A/B testing methodology and experimental design.
- Knowledge of data modeling basics and ETL/ELT concepts.
- Exposure to data privacy and compliance considerations (GDPR, CCPA).
