Job Description : The Indian Embassy is looking for an Azerbaijani national to work as Security Guard in the Mission. The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible and able to work additional hours, if required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enforce all physical security measures under relevant policy to ensure that all staff work in a safe secure environment.
- Administer all visitors with correct Embassy passes; this includes screening/frisking individuals, vehicles on access and carrying out sporadic checks when leaving.
- Monitoring of the Embassy perimeter CCTV cameras and responding to any fire alarms.
- Supervision of all general public visitors within the Embassy compound to and from the Consular/Visa section.
- First point of contact for all Visa enquires and complaints.
- Receive and check all incoming mails/posts and further deliver the same to relevant official, adhere to prescribed procedures when dealing with any suspicious letters or packages.
- Deal with visitors within the Embassy and resolve any problems using the conflict management model amicably.
- Assist the Controlling officer with any VIP visits, large scale functions within the Embassy, and Ambassador’s residence.
- Any other work assigned by controlling officer.
Qualification and experience:
- Certificate of completion of High school is required
- Oral and written capability in English, Azerbaijani and Russian
- Minimum 3 year of experience in security related field.
- Age must be between 25-40 years.
Desirable qualification: Can work as an handyman in Chancery
Job Location:- 6A, Olimpia Street, Ganglik, Narimanov District, Baku
