The former CEO of "SOCAR-AQS" LLC, Ramin Isayev, has been arrested.

According to the information obtained by "Qafqazinfo," a criminal case has been initiated against Ramin Isayev under Article 179.4 (embezzlement, particularly on a large scale) of the Criminal Code in the Anti-Corruption General Directorate with Prosecutor General's Office. He is accused of embezzling 16 million manats.

By the decision of the Binagadi District Court, a pretrial detention measure of 4 months has been selected against him.

Ramin Isayev has also received Turkish citizenship and a passport under the name Ramin Ali Hakan.

It should be noted that Ramin Isayev was relieved of his position as CEO of "SOCAR-AQS" LLC in 2020.

"SOCAR-AQS" LLC was established in 2007.
