Job Location: PITS Azerbaijan Office located at AF Business House, 203 Nizami St, Baku 1010, Azerbaijan
Working Days and Hours: 40 hours/weekly, Mon-Fri, Night Shift, 17:00-02:00 (Baku time).
Agreement Type and Pay: Contractor of the US Office, 1000-2000 AZN(NET), will be offered considering the experience.
Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a motivated, talented individual to join our team as a Helpdesk, Network and Computer Systems Administrator. This is a full-time position that offers a valuable opportunity to work in the field of information technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, operating systems, and software applications.
- Support and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement necessary network upgrades or repairs.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and passwords to ensure proper access controls.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets, including tracking and documenting changes and updates.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of audiovisual equipment, video conferencing systems, and other collaboration tools.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and document technical procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on software applications, IT policies, and security protocols.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and solutions.
- Assist in the procurement and evaluation of IT hardware, software, and services.
- Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for common issues and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred..
- Prior experience in a helpdesk or technical support role is desirable.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac operating systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, LAN/WAN technologies, and wireless networks.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, group policies, and user account management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluency in the English language is required.
