Summary:
Cost Analyst Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing the cost accounting policies of production units. He/she ensures that costing practices throughout the company align with established policies and industry standards. His/her responsibilities will include analyzing production costs for various products and reviewing work orders to ensure accurate cost reflection.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains cost accounting policies and procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements;
- Monitors and enforces compliance with cost accounting policies across the organization;
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate introduction of BOM data into the SAP system;
- Prepares regular reports comparing BOM data introduced into SAP with actual production data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions as needed;
- Analyzes production costs for different products including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement;
- Reviews and validates work orders to ensure that costs are accurately reflected and work with production teams to address discrepancies;
- Provides cost analysis reports to support management decision-making and cost control initiatives;
- Assists in the development of annual budgets and forecasts related to production costs;
- Stay up to date with industry cost accounting trends and changes in accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred);
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting or related roles, preferably in the refinery or petrochemical industry;
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices;
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems;
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Effective communication and leadership skills;
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.

Summary:
The Financial Control Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of operations. He/she will be responsible for conducting periodic audits of accounting divisions, overseeing inventory and fixed asset counts, and ensuring that all balance sheets accurately reflect the real financial situation of the company. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for ensuring data in company’s SAP system aligns with real-world financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting periodic audits of accounting divisions to verify the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions, records, and reporting;
- Overseeing and coordinating the counting of inventories and fixed assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Review and reconcile balance sheets to ensure that they accurately represent the financial position of the company;
- Collaborates with the finance and accounting teams to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records;
- Ensures that data in the SAP system matches with real financial data and work with IT and finance teams to rectify any discrepancies;
- Develops and implements internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and improve financial accuracy;
- Prepares detailed audit reports and findings, along with recommendations for improvements;
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
