Role Profile:
The risk manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks that could impact a company, organization, or project. The risk manager will work closely with other stakeholders to understand the organization's risk appetite and develop strategies to manage risk. He/she will also monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvement. The risk manager will also lead a project for creation of Business Process Universe in the Company and will be responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating risks that may arise during the execution of business processes.
Key duties of a risk manager include:
- Conducting risk assessments and analyzing potential risks
- Developing and implementing risk management strategies and plans
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of risk management strategies
- Providing guidance and training to employees on risk management best practices
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to risk management.
Key requirements:
- Higher education in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- Experience in relevant role of min 3 years
- Professional certification in related field is a strong advantage
- Azerbaijani, English upper intermediate
- Strong analytical skills - A risk manager should be able to analyze complex data and be able to identify potential risks and their potential impact.
- Excellent communication skills - The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues is essential to be able to effectively communicate risks and their potential impact.
- Strong problem-solving skills - A risk manager should be able to identify potential solutions to mitigate risks and be able to make informed decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry - Understanding the industry and its regulations is essential to identify potential risks and be able to mitigate them.
- Attention to detail - A risk manager should pay close attention to details to identify potential risks that might be missed by others.
- Ability to work under pressure - A risk manager should be able to work effectively under pressure and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Good understanding of information technology and cybersecurity risks, as well as the ability to work with IT professionals to develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Good understanding of financial analysis and risk management techniques to assess the financial impact of risks.
- User of various business process schema tools available that can help to visually map out business processes
