We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead the development of Planly social media management software. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in overseeing the development and launch of new products, as well as managing cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Defining the product vision and strategy for Planly
- Define and prioritize product features by considering the development state of the product, business priorities, customer requirements, and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineering, design, and marketing) to plan and deliver features on time and within budget.
- Oversee customer service interactions via email, live chat, and social media to understand and anticipate customer needs, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and ensure that the product meets the needs of its users.
- Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure that it is refined, up-to-date, and reflects the evolving needs of the product.
- Define acceptance criteria and user stories that outline the desired outcome and functionality of each product feature.
- Conduct market research and collect user feedback to gather insights and make informed decisions about product features and functionalities.
- Actively mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint and release goals.
- Measuring and analyzing product performance metrics
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and report to the CEO on the progress of the product team.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:
- English proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Digital Product background: At least 2 years of experience in IT, preferably in a product, project, customer support, or marketing role.
- Software business background: Experience in developing and executing MVP and go-to-market strategies for software products.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven product decisions
- Release management: Proven ability to manage sprint releases on plan.
- Agile / Scrum methodology: Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
- Tools: Atlassian Jira, Confluence; Notion; Monday.com; Zoom;
- Communication and teamwork skills;
