Head of Technical Department is responsible for overseeing and managing the development and technical operation activities, as well as, on-boarding the new property units to the portfolio of Pasha Malls.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate between all stakeholders the progress on New Projects.
- Weekly update the key stakeholders about progress, next milestone, key issues, and challenges.
- Coordinate HSE compliance of the on-boarded
- premises with HSE engineers, to ensure full compliance
- with standards, starting from first month of operations.
- Hire team for successful and sustainable managing tasks.
- Review, control, manage the OPEX and CAPEX Budget
- Ensure full compliance with policies and procedures of the Holding, including but not limited to procurement, HR, HSE, etc.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating a three-year strategic plan for real estate and facilities projects across the networks
- Manages design, development, facility management strategies and construction of new facilities as well as maintenance of all existing facilities
- Defining optimal building specifications (e.g., size, layout, quality, grade, specifications, etc.)
- Controls the budgets for these areas, and establishes and implements short and long-range goals, objectives, and strategic plans.
- Proactively identify and recommend initiatives that focus on service improvements, cost reductions, quality improvements, risk mitigation, industry trends and other relevant factors that affect workplace effectiveness
- Support to the investor/landlord in planning, monitoring, and controlling annual operating budgets.
- Support to the operation teams to create accurate and timely capital and operating expense forecasts, actuals against budget and variance details
- Manage strategic facility management, project fit outs at all facilities with a strong focus on hospitality, user experience, wellness, and sustainability
- Understand local business strategies and translate them to workplace requirements, with the objective to deliver necessary space and services proactively and effectively.
- Participate with other executives to establish corporate strategic plans and objectives
- Develop, modify, and implement company policies that affect immediate operations that have company-wide effect
- Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements, ensure sites comply with all EHS policies and procedures
- Interact regularly with executives and/or major customers in controversial situations, contract negotiations.
Essential Criteria:
- BS and master’s degree in engineering, Technical or related field.
- Minimum 10 years managing technical projects.
- Fundamental understanding of large scale financial and supply chain systems and technologies with corporate perspective.
- Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience in managing technical teams,preferably in a related industry
- Strong work ethic
- Fluency in English and Azerbaijani.
