Role Purpose:
Support current initiatives and Business Processes within the current environment and pre-empts future changes and provide optimum flexibility to the organization. Overall responsibility for all CMs activity and results - category strategy and in store execution for all categories and brands, meeting all relevant KPIs. Direct managing of Category managers' team leaders. Facilitates the planning, organizing and directing of the field sales function. Implement the route to market strategy and field sales strategies. Represent the customer inside the organization. Responsible to develop capabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage an efficient and effective team through on-job training, motivation, coaching and staff development in order to deliver SM&D strategies
- Develop and manage business relationship with key target trade partners within the area – Key Accounts, Wholesalers/Distributors, and outlet owners.
- Develop programs for the area to ensure competitive advantage in the area and share learning within the Region
- Controls and monitors all Sales Ops ad-hoc spend
- Controls and monitors all Sales Operational Budgets
- Formulates and administers Sales incentives for the division.
Qualifications / Education:
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in the FMCG industry with at least 2 to 3 years’ experience at Regional Sales Manager level and or a possible 2 year National experience.
- Excellent English
