Job Overview:
We are recruiting an Account Manager deeply specialized in the oil and gas industry to establish in-depth cooperation with major oil and gas operators, oilfield service companies, and EPC contractors. You will be responsible for promoting the company's specialized products and technical solutions, covering various needs from upstream exploration to downstream refining, and will be a key role in driving the company's growth in this critical industrial sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Strategic Relationships: Act as a strategic partner to establish and maintain long-term, stable relationships with designated clients in the oil and gas industry. Gain a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, operational challenges, and specific technical requirements. Lead framework agreement negotiations and long-term cooperation.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and drive sales opportunities for specialized products and solutions within existing and new target clients. Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the company's technical experts and engineering teams to design and demonstrate viable solutions for complex oil and gas applications. Coordinate internal resources to prepare technical proposals that comply with industry standards and specifications.
- Industry & Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oil and gas industry trends, technical standards, HSE regulations, and competitor movements. Provide feedback to the product team to ensure company solutions meet specific industry needs. Leverage understanding of ICT industry developments to propose digital transformation solutions relevant to oil and gas operations.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales forecasts, client updates, and performance reports. Monitor project progress and changes in client requirements to support management decision-making.
Job Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation, or a related engineering field. 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management roles, with a proven track record of successfully selling industrial products, technologies, or services to oil and gas industry clients.
- Skills & Competencies: Proven track record of achieving targets in complex project sales environments. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical staff and senior management. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to negotiate large contracts. Deep understanding of oil and gas business processes and procurement models. Knowledge of the ICT industry and its application in oil and gas digitalization is a strong plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM and office software. Basic understanding of technologies, equipment, or industrial automation systems commonly used in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Self-driven, results-oriented, with strong customer service awareness. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Willing to travel frequently to client sites, operational bases, and industry events.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Russian (both written and spoken) is a strict requirement to ensure seamless communication with international clients, partners, and internal teams.
