Country Manager (Uzbekistan)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Manager to lead and oversee our operations in Uzbekistan. This strategic role is responsible for driving business growth, managing local operations, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and representing the company with external stakeholders.
Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Eligibility: Only citizens of Azerbaijan are eligible to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s business strategy in Uzbekistan
- Oversee daily operations, including financial performance, sales, and customer relations
- Build and manage strong relationships with government authorities, partners, and clients
- Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations
- Develop and manage a high-performing local team
Product knowledge:
- Rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbine, motor and its spare parts)
- Static Equipment (Pressure vessels Pipes and fittings Pressure vessels)
- Filtration systems
Industries:
- Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream)
- Petrochemical & Chemical Industry
- Power Generation (Thermal, Nuclear, Hydro)
- Food Processing
- Mining & Metals
Production areas like:
- Bukhara
- Kashkadarya (Shurtan, Kokdumalak)
- Fergana
- Almalik
Requirements:
- Citizenship of Azerbaijan or Uzbekistan
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA is an advantage)
- Minimum 7+ years of management experience, preferably in multinational or large local companies
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record in business development and operational management
- Fluency in English and Russian; knowledge of Uzbek is an advantage
