Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar supervisory role, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key Activities and Competencies
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing feedback and addressing performance issues.
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for daily operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
- Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.

- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
