Work function:
- Supervise the daily activities of the Engineering Department:
- Work closely with the person designated by the founder to ensure proper installation and smooth operation of all equipment:
- To monitor the Hotel's Energy Management Systems:
- To work closely with all departments/departments to uncover detect difficulties that may exist beyond the expectations of guests and staff:
- Provide support to other departments in hotel operation and maintenance:
- Program for guestrooms, public areas and safety systems for guestrooms, public areas and safety systems to facilitate a building
- Liaising closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage and other related departments to coordinate guest services and promptly resolve issues that arise:
- To review and re-evaluate the demand for service contracts, trying to achieve productive results when managing such processes:
- To review, summarize and forecast monthly financial results of the Department:
- To prepare the Department's current expenditure estimate and annual capital investment budget:
- To supervise the planning of external personnel and general personnel of the department for the purpose of budget control:
- To proper division of work of all subordinate employees and ensuring productive operation of the department:
- To actively participate in the meetings of the Environmental Commission of "Fairmont Baku" and to implement internal environmental processes in the hotel to support the ecological environment:
- To be an auxiliary member of the accident service team and to maintain close contact with the local fire service:
- To be an active member of the Health and Safety Commission of "Fairmont Baku":
- Ensure and oversee the implementation of Departmental health, safety and emergency response procedural training programs:
- Participate in Strategic Planning sessions with greater emphasis on the planning, coordination and execution of capital investment projects:
- Adhere to health and safety issues and actively participate in maintaining a safe working environment:
- To comply with the policies, procedures and code of conduct of "Fairmont Baku":
- To maintain the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times:
- To provide departmental (all monthly, quarterly, and annual) reports to the directly subordinate manager:
- To provide friendly and sincere service to all hotel employees and guests.
- To monitor the continuous training and development of the employees of the Department:
- To control the attendance schedule of employees, planning of vacation, employment on days off and holidays:
- To control the compliance with the requirements stipulated by the regulations regarding the appearance (dressing rules) of the employees.
- To determine the enterprise's technical policy, development prospects and technical restructuring:
- To ensure periodic improvement of the level of technical preparation of production, increase its efficiency, reduce material, financial and labor costs for product production and works (services), efficient use of production funds and all resources, and organize the development and application of new techniques and technologies:
- To controls compliance with the rules and norms of design, construction and technological discipline, labor protection, safety equipment, industrial sanitation and fire protection:
- To ensures timely preparation of technical documentation:
- To leads the maintenance staff of the enterprise. Directing advanced manufacturing practices and creative proposals
- To lead the technical service of the enterprise, to keep their work, labor and production discipline under control:
- To create and update all policies and procedures of the Department and make sure all employees reporting to her/him are familiarized with them;
Qualification:
- Higher-technical or engineering-technical education
- Work experience of not less than 3 years in management and engineering-technical positions according to the profile of the enterprise
- Fluent Azerbaijani language
- English and Russian (desirable)
- Experience in energy management, engineering or related hotel systems
- Good knowledge of local regulatory acts such as construction norms, fire protection, hygiene and safety techniques
- Possess proven leadership qualities in helping employees achieve their personal goals
- Having strong problem-solving skills to ensure the highest level of productivity at all times
- Be creative and willing to take risks
- Ability to make effective decisions
- Ability to establish healthy mutual relations with all employees of the organization and to influence them
- To know the decisions and resolutions of the government related to the field of work, the decisions, instructions, orders and other guiding and regulatory documents of higher organizations, the specialization and specific characteristics of the enterprise, the economic, technical and social perspectives of the field and the enterprise, the technology of product production, farming and management methods
- To know advanced practices, achievements of science and technology, the basics of production and management, norms and rules of labor, safety equipment, industrial sanitation and fire protection
