Senior Internal Control Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform independent testing of internal controls over business processes.
- Provide input into the development of the annual risk-based Internal Control test plan.
- Conduct business process control reviews related to implementation of business process changes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with the Business Process Owners to remediate identified control weaknesses.
- Analyze information and conduct testing to detect deficient, non-existent controls, inefficiencies etc.
- Conduct fraud risk assessments and fraud investigations based on information provided.
- Contribute to the monitoring and maintenance of an effective internal control environment.
- Present and report the result of control reviews and fraud investigations to line manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- At least 4 years of relevant experience preferably at Retail sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for communication with managers and business process owners
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems;
- Presentation skills;
- Good personal organisation skills;
- Language skills - Azerbaijani, English
- Computer skills - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel (high level), and PowerPoint).
