HR Generalist

Role Synopsis:
Reports to Head of HR. HR Generalist is in-charge of talent acquisition, onboarding & orientation, employee relations, performance management, career and succession planning, policy implementation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Executes recruitment strategy through a variety of means including universities, job fairs, external recruiters, and traditional print and internet postings; write and place advertisements; screen and interview, create and maintain Applicants Tracking Database.
- Recruits and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Oversees implementation of organizational training agenda, including occupational and non-occupational trainings; participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure training objectives are met. Create and maintain Employee Training Tracker and Training Vendors database.
- Partners with management to provide guidance on Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, and projects.
- Provides support in the management of employee performance, development, succession, and career planning processes.
- Receives and effectively handle employee complaints, proactively reveal and escalate potential employee relations matters to the management.
- Conducts and analyze exit interviews, recommend changes.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with state employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Develops and maintains company organization charts.
Desired background:
- University Degree in Law, Economy, Psychology, Business Administration, or Social Sciences
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- HR certification (CIPD, HRCI, SHRM) will be considered an asset
Required skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical, problem-solving and sound judgement skills
- Proficient with advanced use of MS Office programs, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Time management and ability to meet the deadlines
- Business fluency in Azerbaijani and English are required, Russian will be considered an asset.

HR Assistant

Role Synopsis:

HR Assistant is in charge of maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation in compliance with Labor Law and Company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as maintaining vacation balances, vacation orders, sickness, unpaid leaves, and other absence documentation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation in compliance with Labor Law and Company standards, policies and procedures.
- Manage and register vacation balances, vacation orders, sickness and unpaid leaves and other absences documentation.
- Maintain and keep updated all personnel records on computer database and personnel files;
- Assist Payroll Team with the required employee information.
- Prepares salary/reference letters to embassies, banks, etc.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Maintains the Medical Insurance and Fitness Club memberships.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired background:
- University Degree in Law, Economy, Psychology, Business Administration, or Social Sciences
- Minimum 1-year experience in an HR Assistant role
- Good knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

Role Synopsis:
To provide high level confidential support to the Chief Executive Officer by providing a full secretarial and administrative service. Ensuring that effective planning and administrative systems are in place and maintained efficiently and effectively.
Key Accountabilities:
- To act as a first point of contact dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
- To proactively manage and coordinate the diary of the CEO by prioritising and arranging internal and external meetings, ensuring appropriate briefing papers are prepared and provided.
- Plan and organise travel and accommodation when required.
- To provide full executive assistant support by dealing with all correspondence and calls, drafting routine letters to a high standard, minute meetings, taking messages and other administrative tasks as required to support the CEO.
- To provide support for management meetings by ensuring meetings are properly arranged and serviced. This will include drafting agendas, collating papers and reports, taking minutes and following up action points.
- To service meetings of the Senior Management Team by drafting and collating papers and reports, preparing manageable agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions points.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with values, equality aims, policies and procedures of the Company.
- Participate and contribute to organisational/team meetings as required.
- Provide reports for senior management as required.
- Undertake any other appropriate duties as required to support the CEO to enable them to fulfil their role.
