Job description:
The Business Analyst for Digital PMO is responsible for supporting the Digital Project Management Office (PMO) in delivering digital projects on time, within budget, and with high quality. The Business Analyst for Digital PMO will assist the Digital PMO team in analyzing business requirements, defining project scope, and identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Work with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional requirements for digital projects
- Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Work with the Digital PMO team to define project scope and ensure that project requirements align with business goals
- Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams to gather information and requirements for projects
- Develop use cases, user stories, and other project artifacts to support project planning and execution
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and ensure project success
- Support the Digital PMO team in creating project schedules and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery
- Work with the Digital PMO team to develop project dashboards and reporting templates to provide visibility into project status and progress
- Ensure that project documentation is up-to-date and properly maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicate project requirements and status to stakeholders and senior management as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a digital environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile (and it’s Frameworks) and Waterfall
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience with project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana
- Familiarity with digital technologies and trends, including web development, mobile applications, social media, and analytics
