We are seeking a proactive Cost Controller at the Sky Catering branch of Aviation Services Group to play a pivotal role in our finance team. The role focuses on analyzing, monitoring and controlling costs across food production, service provision, procurement and operations to maximize efficiency.
Job Description:
- Track, analyze and reconcile direct and indirect costs (food, labour, packaging, transport, utilities).
- Investigate and explain cost variances; recommend corrective actions and cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, analyze shrinkage and adjust controls.
- Participate in inventory counts as a Finance Department representative as a point of control;
- Collaborate with procurement, production and operations to optimize purchasing, waste reduction and production efficiency.
- Implement and enforce internal controls and SOPs related to costing and stock handling.
- Maintain cost records and reconcile with accounting data.
- Prepare monthly cost reports (material usage, purchase price changes etc).
- Contribute to the analysis of material consumption and cost formulation.
- Support month-end closing process with cost-related reconciliations and input to accounting.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant field (MBA is an advantage);
- Progress in relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, FMVA) is an advantage;
- 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, F&B, FMCG or relevant industries;
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel;
- Proactiveness, confidence and flexibility skills;
- Working experience with accounting or ERP software;
- Good knowledge of English language;
- Effective both as an individual and a team player;
- Ability to manage and lead multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working conditions:
- In accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- Job Location: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport area.
- Work Schedule: Full-time (5 days per week from 09:00 till 18:00).
- The company daily provides free service transportations from/to different locations (such as, Koroglu m/s, Bakikhanov, Amirdjan, Mardakan, Bina, Surakhani and so on).
- Salary range is 1,200-1,500 AZN NET.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Auditor to join our internal audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements across various business units, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations and control environment.
The main responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of annual audit work plans and ensure alignment with audit standards and company objectives.
- Lead and oversee the planning and execution of financial, operational, and compliance audits while adhering to audit methodologies and industry best practices.
- Perform detailed testing of key controls, identify possible issues, be alert to fraud risks, ensure the accuracy of audit findings and do timely and proper documentation of these findings.
- Prepare audit reports, including findings and recommendations, and present to audit managers for review.
- Evaluate the organization’s risk management and governance processes and contribute suggestions for improvement.
- Conduct follow-up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective remediation.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior auditors and assist in their professional development.
- Assist in special investigations and ad-hoc audit requests from management or the board.
- Review the work of junior staff, ensuring that audit conclusions are well-supported by evidence.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations.
Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit-related field. (Master’s degree/MBA is advantage)
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA: min F7 or Dip.IFR, partial or full CIA, CIMA is a big advantage).
Experience, Skills & Competency Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant audit experience, 2 years in senior position (Previous work experience in a Big 4 audit companies is an advantage).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs and particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
- Ability to mentor and supervise junior staff members.
- Good knowledge of English language.
- Team player.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
