Accountant Responsibilities:
- Providing support to chief accountant
- Processing payables, receivables, payments
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Assist with financial reports preparation
- Perform journal entries for company transactions
- Assist with financial/tax audits
Requirements and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Additional certification is a plus
- 3 to 5+ years of work experience as an Accountant
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organization abilities
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Language proficiency: Advanced in Russian and Azerbaijani (speaking and writing), English – upper intermediate or higher (speaking and writing)
Working Hours:
- From 9 am to 6 pm with a lunchtime from 1 pm to 2 pm
- Five-day, 40-hour work week
Monthly salary and social benefits:
- Up to 2000 AZN (net) based on candidate’s background
- Voluntary medical insurance
1 year Labor agreement (with possibility of extension)
3 month probation period
