Senior Corporate Legal Advisor

Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents and oversee their formalization.
- Draft letters, protocols, resolutions, contracts, and similar documents, and conduct their legal examination.
- Participate in the legal examination of prepared orders, instructions, regulations, standards, and other legal acts and projects.
- Ensure the correct application of legislation within the company.
- Prepare legal opinions on relevant issues.
- Participate in resolving legal issues arising in the company's operations, as well as in improving company operations.
- Represent the company's interests in courts, government, and public organizations concerning legal matters.
- Analyze changes to current legislation related to the company's activities and inform management accordingly.
- Resolve legal issues arising in the operations of the company's structural units within the framework of legislation.
- Formalize documents related to the administrative and financial liability of employees in accordance with established regulations.
- Provide employees with advice on current legislation, as well as organizational-legal and other legal issues.
Requirements:
- Higher education in Law.
- At least 5 years of experience in the legal field.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills, organizational and problem-solving abilities, decision-making, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of legislation: Civil Code, Labor Code, Tax Code, legislation in the energy sector, and legal acts related to corporate governance.
- Language skills: Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of foreign languages.
HR Business Partner

Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business;
- Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution;
- Provide timely information and education for all levels of the company on HR issues;
- Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals;
- Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development;
- Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development;
- Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results;
- Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction;
- Educate team members on compensation practices, including compensation, performance feedback, performance calibration, and career transitions.
Required experience & skills:
- Successful experience as an HR leader in employee company aligned to the specific HR Business Partner role/client group;
- Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organization development, change management, and employee relations;
- A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and employment laws and regulations;
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues;
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Demonstrated credibility and integrity in communications to ensure information flows upward and downward;
- Ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, together with those of the company.
- Ability to stylistically adapt communication based on audience.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently;
- Lead management in organizational assessment and diagnosis to turn business strategies into action;
- Provide and demonstrate change management leadership;

- Oil and Gas or manufacturing industry experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR and 3 years of HR Business Partner;
- CIPD or relevant HR qualification is advantage;
- Experience of providing complex employee relations HR advise and guidance to Senior Leaders;
- Experience of managing a significant caseload of HR cases from start to finish achieving successful outcomes;
- Knowledge of current HR legislation;
- Good planning and project management skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook with the aptitude to learn new software quickly;
- Proficiency in written and verbal Azerbaijani and English languages.
