Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with delivering all agreed marketing and PR strategies and monitor on-going marketing and PR campaigns performance and reporting as directed by the Line Manager;
- Developing and implementing promotional activity, collateral and in-house merchandising as well as maintaining the hotel's media library to include video, film and press coverage archives;
- Promote the hotel's marketing activities to the media covering all food and beverage, rooms and event promotions;
- Support all internal communication activities including, but not limited to, regional and area updates, press release writing, newsletters and drafting speeches for company executives and assisting with senior management interviews with relevant preparation material;
- Promote and support all marketing and PR activities including special events, sponsorship opportunities, merchandising campaigns, exhibitions and property inspections;
- Support the department with media relations involving tracking social media, updating press kits, archiving news releases and press coverage, maintaining media databases, coordinating interviews, and ensuring relevant administrative duties are completed in advance of media visits;
- Organize and manage familiarization trips for media professionals and entertain local media where appropriate;
- Assist with and, where required, lead on-site photos shoots and hotel filming whilst ensuring all relevant administration approvals are completed and confirmed;
- Execute and implement appropriate use of marketing and PR content, creative resources, translation and photography while optimizing an effective online presence in line with regional strategy;
- Respond to customer postings as appropriate tackling any complaints and issues.
Requirements:
- At least 2 year previous Marketing and/or Press Relations experience in a similar environment;
- Proven experience of working to and understanding key marketing and PR disciplines, plans and strategies;
- Good command of the Azerbaijani, English and Russian language is essential, both written and verbal;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, project and time management;
- Creatively minded and has a desire to work in marketing and/or PR for the hospitality industry;
- Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges;
- Ability to work under pressure at all times;
- Able to interact effectively, create solutions, influence others and work diplomatically with a wide range of individuals;
- Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with various levels of management;
- Demonstrates an understanding of commercial awareness, able to adapt to changing priorities with key judgment and decision making skills;
- Professional approach, clean and well-groomed at all times;

Hostess

Responsibilities:
- To follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
- To set up the host/hostess stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room.
- To open the restaurant for business at the prescribed time each shift.
- To inspect the cleanliness of each section of the dining room and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set.
- To inspect every menu and list to ensure their immaculate condition and appearance.
- To assign seating taking into the account service standards.
- To know the server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patterns and their maximum workload capacity.
- To maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant.
- To be fully capable of working with open table system
- To ensure each guest receives the highest quality of service.
- To greet each guest promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, a smile and good posture.
- To handle guests without reservations or those waiting for others to join them.
- To handle lost and found items.
- To seat reservations promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party.
- To check guest's coats or packages when necessary.
- To address guests by name whenever possible.
- To address guest dissatisfaction immediately and inform the manager of the action taken.
- To answer telephones according to standards and take reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service.
- To anticipate the needs of guests while scanning the room constantly.
- To respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- To perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
- To identify potential problems and ask for assistance before breakdown occurs.
- To provide lateral service within the hotel whenever needed
- Must be able lead by example by demonstrating the Hallmarks and guiding principles in their role continuously.
- Must be able to perform any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.
Requirements:
- Experience in similar positions
- Demonstrated experience working in a high volume, high pressure environment
- Experience working in the hospitality or other customer service related industry
- Administrative skills, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Familiar with facilities management systems
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- 6 day per week shift graphic;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office applications

- To sustain high presentation & correct positioning and cooking of food at all times with guidance from senior chefs;
- To maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and up keep of equipment;
- To ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties are carried out as instructed by senior chefs;
- To contribute to the building of the team and efficient team spirit and an active interest in employee’s welfare, safety and development;

- Operating and managing the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with the executive and sous chefs to ensure a successful working environment.
- Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
- Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
- Developing new recipes for seasonal menus.
- Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
- Meeting with customers to discuss details and planning of custom-made desserts and pastries for special occasions, such as weddings.
- Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients.
- Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section, when needed, and within budget.

- 2 or more years’ experience working within the food industry as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role.

- Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
- Keen attention to detail.

- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
