Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage all financial actions of the company. The CFO will play a crucial role in the overall financial strategy, planning, and performance of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and inspire the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and long-term sustainability.
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company’s financial stability.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to drive the company's growth and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Monitor and manage risks, implementing controls to protect the company’s assets.
- Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors and financial institutions.
- Guide investment decisions and capital management for optimum business growth.
- Collaborate with other senior executives to drive the company's strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure operational efficiency and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CFA qualification is preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in large corporations or holdings.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Demonstrated experience in financial strategy, risk management, and capital allocation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a finance team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is a plus).
