The Embassy of India in Baku wishes to invite applications for the position of Interpreter cum Social Secretary from the experienced applicants. Starting pay will be about US$ 960 per month.
Required qualifications and skill set:

A University Degree or equivalent qualification

At least two years of suitable work experience;
-
Effective translation & interpretation, public relations and high level of communication skills in English and Azerbaijani language (both written and spoken);

Event management skills;
-
Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, Internet and e-mail);
-
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;

Willingness to work beyond office hours in case required.
Work Profile:

Provide Secretarial assistance, maintain and schedule meetings;
-
Respond to telephone or written inquiries;
-
Accord necessary support and assistance in planning, managing and executing official events and social engagements in the Mission and at Ambassador’s residence;

Live Interpretation and Translation of official / important documents and communications;
-
Maintain an up-to-date database of guest’s lists and contacts;
-
Other secretarial tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
