An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Economic and Energy Officer in Baku. This is a full-time and  permanent contract.  

Our new Economic and Energy Officer will be responsible for providing tailored economic, environmental and energy reporting and analysis on a range of domestic and international issues to British diplomats in the Embassy and across the UK government network.  Areas of interest include internal economic dynamics, commercial environment, regional affairs, energy security and climate change.  Lead on delivering policy goals in these areas. Liaise with key stakeholders both in government and outside government, using networking to gain access  and additional insight to advance UK interests.
